Scan is a very common and useful feature for amateur radio operators. When they are not sure which frequencies have a signal, they can turn on the scan function.
To give an easy-to-understand example, suppose we have built 10 channels, but we are not sure which channel has a signal. At this time, if we turn on the scan function, the walkie-talkie will wait on these 10 channels. If there is no signal, it will automatically wait the next channel, so that you have been scanning between 1-10 channels, you will find a channel with a signal.
Scan by its next action after sweeping to the channel with a signal, we divide it into three types, time scan, search scan, and carrier scan. The following editor introduces them one by one.
Time scan: Each channel scans for a fixed time, and when a channel with a signal is scanned, after the time passes, even if the signal does not disappear, the walkie-talkie will continue to scan the next channel.
